We arrived in Quito! Represented by our directors Ericka Espino and César Duarte. In this blog, Ericka shares her experiences with us.
A great journey begins with a first step. In MAKE we seek internationalization as an agency, so we have already traveled hand in hand with PromPerú to Mexico and Ecuador.
At the end of June 2023, we took part in the Trade Mission of Services in Quito, Ecuador. We identified a wide demand for digital marketing services, Ecuadorian companies want to have a digital presence and connect with their target audience.
By understanding the Ecuadorian market, we were able to realize that there are differences between countries that must be taken into account when developing a content marketing strategy.
I share 3 learnings from this trip:
- Like Peru, the regions of Ecuador do not have the same lifestyle and culture. The digital marketing strategy must consider this.
- Investing in digital is the common denominator among companies, they aim to have a presence and contact with customers, regardless of their business model, regardless of whether it is B2C, B2B, or any other, focusing on digital channels.
- This type of events, increases the spirit of camaraderie and brotherhood with the participating Peruvian companies, generating bonds of friendship and strategic alliances.
We thank the team led by David Edery, Services Export Manager of PromPerú, Victor Salazar and the entire team of PromPerú Ecuador, as well as our colleagues, Peruvian entrepreneurs, with whom we participated in this mission.
Trade mission to Mexico:
In March 2023, we participated in the Peru Service Summit in Mexico. In Mexico City, CDMX, and Guadalajara, Jalisco. We held business meetings and activities. We had the opportunity to hold meetings with over 40 Mexican businessmen and gain an in-depth understanding of the market’s culture and context.
