Interbank eMailing
Introduction
Interbank is one of the leading banks in Peru, it belongs to the Intercorp group, leader in the national market. The institution leads the 2022 reputation ranking in Peru, according to Merco, and was chosen as Bank of the Year in Digital Transformation in Latin America and the Caribbean by LatinFinance magazine.
Luis Felipe Castellanos, CEO of Interbank, asserts that the path of the future is digital. “Today approximately 95% of what can be done in the physical world, that is, in branches, can already be done through digital channels,” he says.
The challenge
The Content Marketing area had a month of HTML eMail production pending, equivalent to 400 pieces. The production times were high (between 3 days and a week, depending on the complexity), with null responsive behavior, which directly affected the conversion results.

MAKE’s challenge was to improve the eMail production process, increase efficiency and eliminate communication backlogs while speeding up the process and improving the industry’s time-to-market for eMail communications.
Proposal
Evaluation
Evaluating the effort demanded for the backlog and monthly pieces projected and assigning an exclusive team for your attention with a pool modality to take advantage of the installed capacity of the equipment and avoiding downtime.
Automation
Automating the process of the pieces to speed up the process and design directly in HTML without the need to know how to program. For this, we created our own platform as an enabler and we have been using it with all our clients.
Redesign
Redesigning e-mails for responsive support and to be compatible with any device and email client.
Implementation
Implementing an agile work process that allows prioritizing deliveries according to the communications calendar and allowing for partial reviews and timely approvals.
Resultado
In the first few months we were able to reverse the problem that prevented them from getting out in a timely manner with the planned communications.
Additionally, we were able to increase the production speed, allowing for a higher production than they had before and with a smaller work team.
