Agility is the set of project management principles and practices that focus on collaboration, adaptation, flexibility and rapid delivery of value.  These principles are fundamental to MAKE, but they can also be very useful in our daily life.

But how can we apply this to our projects, work, or personal sphere? Here are the 5 steps to achieve it:

1. Prioritization:

You can apply prioritization in your daily tasks. Identify what are the most important or urgent tasks you need to do and focus on them. Apply the Pareto law or 80/20. Use applications to organize yourself like Trello, Asana, Todo list, Google Tasks or simply your notebook.

2. Iterations:

Organizing your personal projects in cycles or “sprints” is basic in agility. Divide your large tasks into smaller and manageable parts. At the end of each cycle, perform a retrospective to reflect on what worked for you, what did not work for you, and how you can improve.

3. Adaptability:

Your long-term plans should be flexible rather than rigid. Be open to change.

Adapt when circumstances change and always be willing to learn and grow.

4. Communication and collaboration:

Learn to work well with other people, whether within your family, at work, or in society in general. Communicate effectively and always maintain a collaborative attitude. Prioritize personal relationships and interactions over efficiency or productivity.

5. Growth mindset:

Think that every day you can learn and improve something. Apply this mindset in your daily life by looking for learning opportunities and being open to new challenges. Use at least 30 minutes a day to read something new, take an online course, or listen to podcasts.
